These BNC cables are different from the standard definition cables by the difference of copper density. The increased copper density is what allows for the BNC cables to correctly carry the 720p HD video footage and accurately portray them on your monitor. These cables are compatible with the older BNC cameras as well; therefore, their full compatibility range is the following: 480TVL to 720p.
These cables are NOT compatible with the new 1080p systems such as (SDH-C75100, SDH-C75080, SDH-B73040, etc)
