Security: A Source of Much Frustration
The Webster Dictionary defines the word "security" as a few things.
1. Freedom from danger
2. Freedom from fear or anxiety
3. measures taken to guard against espionage or sabotage, crime, attack or escape
When the definition of security is not provided or available to us in our lives, it can be quite the headache.
Our greatest exposure to security comes from those black boxes we have at home that seem to have tiny people trapped inside them: television. When asking several people about their opinion of the word "security," they responded with many different words, but one word that presented itself very often was expensive
. What we see on television definitely is expensive. Professional-grade security systems we see on television could easily empty out our checking accounts, but in reality common households and businesses don't need to go that extra mile to ensure some sort of security.
As a vendor of security systems, we come across questions like that just about every day. Of course everyone wants it, but no one is going to empty their bank accounts for the sake of one or two cameras. These days companies such as Samsung have been producing what we call consumer-grade
security systems, and we carry them. Whether you own a business or a house, these systems have become affordable
and have also become a viable source of interest for many.
Now, the title of this post says "security: a source of much frustration." As you ponder the title, I'm sure you'll agree with me in saying that it definitely is a source of frustration; at least the lack of security is frustrating. A few months ago, my car was broken into and stripped right in my own driveway. The police officer told me that he'd make a report but that it really wouldn't do me any good since there's no source of evidence. He also told me that he was 8 cameras installed around his house just for that reason. So yes! A lack of security can be a headache, but there is a simple solution to it. Install cameras. Take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and your loved ones. It's an investment you'll definitely want to make.
